Vietnam Mandatory Requirements for All BT and WLAN Products
Under regulations set forth in Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT (replacing Circular No. 42/2016/TT - BTTT), BT and WLAN products with output power less than 60 mW will now be subject to Type Approval in Vietnam. This new regulation will take effect July 1, 2018. Previously obtained exemption letters will no longer be valid and certificates will be required. Type Approval Certificates obtained under Circular No. 42/2016/TT - BTTT will be valid until the expiration date listed on the certificate.
