Safety
Safety: Normally, electronic/electrical products contain seven safety related factors: electric shock, energy related hazards, fire, heat related hazards, mechanical hazards, radiation, chemical hazards. During safety certification, products need to meet above points. Each country has its own safety requirements, even has mandatory requirements in some countries, such as China CCC, European Union CE. Some certification logos have good market reputation, many manufacturers ask their suppliers to certify related components to increase market safety impression, such as UL mark, NEMKO mark, GS mark. These marks have good market reputation. Meanwhile, people have rational consumption concept, they not only persue products' low price and high performance, but also care more about products' safety. How to get high quality products has been critical factor consumers cared. To make world safer, products safety certifications will be more popular. The international ITE safety standards used are IEC 60950-1 and IEC 62368-1.
Laser and LED certification: Laser and LED technology lead technical improvement, including information technology, medical care, entertainment, automobiles etc. As laser and LED products are more and more popular, manufacturers need to reduce light radiation risks of these products. Meanwhile, manufacturers need to follow related standards, so that their laser and LED products can access USA and global countries. These standards include FDA/CDRH 21 CFR (Laser), IEC60825-1 (Laser), IEC 62471 (LED). In some situations, if non-compliant for laser and LED, manufacturers may need recall products and even fine.
